MANAGING DIRECTOR AT THE TV PRODUCTION OFFICE
We have worked together recently on numerous occasions on both large scale TVC's and sponsorship ident projects which have involved a mix of live action and visual effects. I have always been impressed with the role Elliott plays in the projects, whether its as a vfx supervisor on set or a flame artist. He is very talented, creatively intuitive, always listens to feedback and responds with constructive thinking/solutions and last but not least is a very nice person to work with too - a real team player who I trust immensely. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
Shot 8: The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV was shot on a rolling road and the tunnel was built in 3D. Clean up was done on the car including removing camera, studio reflection and grain. Then beauty work of the car accentuating the cars' key features. The tunnel was composited in Flame using a number of 3D passes blended together. The lighting, depth of field and motion blur was added to give the final touch. The clients were very happy with the shot and referred to it as the "beauty money shot".
